In memoriam: Tony Hart, creative extraordinaire inspired another bit of marvel artistry, as hundreds of people showed up at South Bank, London to create their very own plastacine Morphs. I have to say, some of the models featured in the video were very good indeed.

I am not sure how long the exhibit will stay, but with Tate Modern just down the road, I think it would be fitting if the whole thing moved there as a permanent show piece. In any case, he really did instil the creative side in people and I am sure he is smiling down at us. I think a huge Morph the size of Nelson’s Column would be good too, made of clay perhaps.
