Sony P Series
Friday, February 27th, 2009This is crazily cute, as soon as I saw it I wanted one. It’s the new P series laptop by Sony, well it’s more like a book than a machine. Not that I don’t have enough portable devices already (Sony Vaio laptop, HTC Shift, HTC Touch HD and god knows how many old mobile phones), but still I can’t stop having the thoughts of desire entering my mind. The bit I like is having the 128GB SSD drive to go with it, it should boot up in seconds. It’s a shame it comes with Vista pre-installed and not some sort of Linux distro, but I guess that was to be expected.
It also has integrated mobile broadband, I am assuming this works in a similiar vein to my HTC Shift where you can put a mobile sim card in there for 3G/HSDPA connectivity. Being a Sony product, it will be costly at a not so bargain basement price of $899.99. So that will be a grand for here then, give or take, if you max out the specs.
On another note, Apple Macbook explodes. Yes I know, been there done that but still I can’t help looking at that picture and chuckle.
