Red Nose Day 2009
Yes it’s that time again, it’s now 00.24 and it is officially Red Nose Day, or better known as Comic Relief. For non brits, this is a day where everyone across the UK do charity events to raise money for causes locally and also globally. This includes helping children in Africa, or sending aid for The Red Cross. It’s also fun of course, with televised shows of celebrities basically making a fool out of themselves to get the cash.
I will be doing my bit by dressing down at work tomorrow today and wearing something red. This is not as easy as it sounds, I’ve never been a red fan myself but I do have the odd red T-shirt or two. No doubt I will be rummaging through my wardrobe, because I still haven’t decided on the item of clothing in question. Worst case scenario, I take up someone’s idea of using pig’s blood and drawing Satanic symbols on a white T-shirt. Or not. I do worry about society sometimes.
On that note, I am going to bed. I am getting retina burn again.
