Winter wonderland
I left work early on Friday because of the onslaught of sleet and snow that bombarded the town, so I took the opportunity to take some snaps when I got home. Disappointingly, I forgot to take the camera hood with me to keep the lens clean and the snow falling diagonally didn’t help. A lot has thawed away over the weekend, which is good for me for driving into work fingers crossed.
The pictures are below for your enjoyment, as a side note the British economy has lost an estimated £3bn+ this week from the adverse weather conditions. In fact, we had to import salt from Spain because our supply of grit was running dangerously low. This chilling fact brings me nicely to how our tax money from council tax goes into Icelandic banks, as an “investment”. Look how that turned out. It looks like it’s going to be an interesting year all round.
